It has been over some months now since my sister, Lizzy, and I completed High School. I have been having fun staying here at Project Samuel all this time, playing lots of soccer and many more games with the community and the family here. Now I am having a good time, talking and catching up on with my brothers and sisters, on some things I missed during my studies for the final exams.
Something so exciting about this whole time is, I was offered a job around the Project which involves me in teaching my younger brothers and sisters whenever they are out of school during holidays.
Everything was going so well until Coronavirus came into the world. We all got afraid of this dangerous virus that is killing many people. We got on quarantined to keep us from catching the virus, and the quarantine was to not move about anyhow or to anywhere out of the Project, and no going to school. There is now no more going to school for my brothers and sisters because our schools closed for as long as the coronavirus is active, so I get to start teaching them from home (so exciting)!
This Corona also made us come together and worship the Lord as one, we anchored our faith in Christ our Lord that our families will be safe from this virus and all those that belong to Project Samuel family around the world to be safe. We also prayed for others that might be victims of Coronavirus to remain protected in Christ our Lord and Saviour.
Despite all this, I am loving this time we are staying home together, we have a lot to catch up with each other and share the bond as one family as I said earlier. Right now, I am back in class, teaching my younger brothers and sisters, and I can tell, they are loving this good time too.
Helping with work around the Project is one of my favourite things to do. I really want to learn more about how things work around here, the field, tractor, Canter, the genset, the water pump, the garden, buildings, and many others. Life here is getting interesting everyday and I am loving this moment more than ever. The sad news is that, sooner or later, I will have to leave my family for University, which will make me miss them so much. We could be talking on the phone but talking out things in person is more wonderful.
I could go on and on telling you about the exciting things that are happening around the Project, but for now I have to go and I am looking forward to giving you more updates about the wonderful things that are happening here at our sweet home Project Samuel.
