Nicaragua is the largest country in Central America. It borders Honduras in the north and Costa Rica in the south. Though it may still carry a reputation of uneasiness, Nicaragua now profiles itself as one of the least dangerous countries in Latin America. Poverty is still striking and the need for Christ is what makes Nicaragua an important mission field.
In December of 2013, Project Samuel purchased land in Nicaragua in order to begin construction on its first project in Latin America.
As of 2019, Project Samuel Nicaragua has completed four staff houses, site prep and infrastructure for its future community center. The community center will serve children in the surrounding communities of Guanacastillo, Los Altos, and Nindiri by providing education, job training and day to day assistance. Some of the day to day activities include youth and sports programs, feeding programs, tutoring assistance and language classes.
