If you look at this picture chances are you just see a field. Its a beautiful field, but to you it probably holds no place in your heart. You would see this and maybe pause for a few seconds, then move on about your day. To me, this picture is {everything}. You see, it isn’t simply some field or piece of dirt, its the home of a place where stories are written, hope is restored and love is imparted.
It is the site of Project Samuel Nicaragua.
I love that we drill wells on the sites of Project Samuels that we build. It is so symbolic isn’t it? It will be physically clean water for the children we serve, but they will actual come to drink living water.
So this picture is of hollowed ground, ground God has chosen to raise up a generation that will radically change their country. Behind the lens of this camera, there were several of those precious lives giggling and pulling my arms to see the picture on the screen. The seed of hope has already been planted in them. They are ready. They are simply waiting on us, and you guys, if {that} doesn’t make your heart beat wildly and keep you up at night thinking of ways to raise more funds and build faster, I don’t know what will. At RFCM we have faith that God will help us finish the race he has marked out for us, won’t you come along and run this race with us?
“Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen…By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen has been made from things that are not visible.”
