Project Samuel Zambia is located on 257 acres of land in Chibombo District in the Central province of Zambia. It was incorporated in 2006 as a Zambian non-profit corporation.
Upon completion we hope to be one of the largest youth projects in Zambia serving the needs of more than 300 orphans. In addition, the project serves at risk youth in the villages and towns near its location in Chibombo District. Project Samuel also serves the adult population of those villages by teaching mechanized farming, health care, job training and parenting skills.
Project Samuel consists of Housing facilities for orphan care, Educational facilities, a Clinic and Hospice facility for children with terminal illnesses like AIDS. With more than 200 acres of arable farmland and an innovative approach to Aquaponics , Project Samuel is designed to be partially self supporting, growing traditional commercial crops on a working farm, raising produce vegetables and Tilapia, as well as poultry not only for consumption, but also as a funding source.
