It has been a busy summer here at RFCM! With four Mission Possible trips finished we still have two more remaining, both headed to Nicaragua. The earlier trips to Project Samuel, in Zambia and Nicaragua, were great trips and we really appreciate all those that invested in our projects to further help the “at-risk” children that live near both projects.
In June, we took a team to Project Samuel Nicaragua to begin construction on the first staff house. After laying out all houses and staking them off, we began digging the footings for the house. Unfortunately, we had to leave before they were completed but we were able to purchase the needed materials and left Ulises, our construction foreman, to finish the job. While in Zambia, we received photos from Nicaragua of the completed footings and an eager report to begin constructing the exterior walls.
The two teams that will be visiting Project Samuel Nicaragua in August will help Ulises put up the exterior walls. We are very excited about the progress we are seeing and thankful for the help that’s been traveling to Nicaragua to partner with us to begin the construction! We ask that you please continue praying with us as we search for those passionate about impacting the lives of “at-risk” children, who will partner with Project Samuel to make their futures a reality. Thank you for your prayers and support and for helping us bring HOPE across the globe.
